    1980 Presidential Democratic National Convention Alternate Delegate pin ribbon. This historic event was held in New York City at Madison Square Garden  August 11-14, 1980, and heralded the nomination of Jimmy Carter and Walter Mondale. This was kept in pristine condition all these years-- in its original box, with the original padding, paperwork, and the box is embossed in gold.No scratches or marks. The ribbon is a little curvy because of the "Big Apple" pin, but you could easily iron it out.  If you collect Presidential memorabilia, this would be very cool to have in your collection.
