Description
Alben William Barkley, 35th US Vice President under President Truman 1949-1953, was an American lawyer from Kentucky who served in both Houses of Congress. He was born in 1877 and died in 1956. Congress in recognition of distinguished public service awarded him this honor on August 12, 1949. This is a bronze 3” medallion commemorating this occasion. I have not polished this metal and will leave it up to the bidder’s discretion.
